The JOEYS Football Club has been looking for this need for a long time -

Our vision is to take the club as high as possible to meet above Need .

In the past there were many obstacles  - the name Joeys FC became torn in many eyes, but we never lost our cool, we kept marching on, challenging and doing things our way, the Joeys way.

Like anybody else we have made mistakes, learned our lessons and kept moving forward.

Our objective is very simple - to give opportunities to every player.  Give them the chance to prove themselves, provide them with a club – where they feel at home and can grow as a person and as a footballer, give them the chance to become a good and valued Citizen, somebody that our community can be proud off.

Sport can do so much for those who have the desire to promote excellence. Promoting honesty, competitive spirit, pride and honour, first class education and good manners.

Not long ago we were total amateur’s, today we are competing with the best clubs in NNSW some of whom have a very long and successful histor .

Many trips to Germany have given wonderful opportunities to so many boys and girls to learn about top class football, about different cultures, history, language and the global world.

Our vision has recognised many talented players and many top class students.

Just to mention names like Jackson Haussler playing second highest level of Youth Football in Germany - Adrian Eccles who received a huge scholarship to study in the USA and play professional football there - James Eccles who is with Brisbane Roar, Jack Campbell with Toowoomba Grammar and trialed with Everton last year Martin Gorrie to play at the top level in the USA this year and another 15 Joeys players at Toowoomba Grammar School receiving a top class education  and being groomed to make the step to professional football.

I can’t express in words our gratitude to Toowoomba Grammar for their support Cooperation and their progressive thinking about correlation between modern Sport and education. Providing a unique opportunity for our young players to get the best in education and football development. Thank you all at TGS .

Our concept of promoting football is different and our model of the Mini World Cup is unique in Australia and has created a tournament with rewards never seen before in the Country.

Our senior team prides itself to give many opportunities to our boys and girls to play for " a club with a difference " opportunities unique only to the Joeys Football Club.

Supported by the community, our spirit and ability to overcome all obstacles proves that nothing can be regarded impossible - We can get what we NEED.

OUR MISSION IS - to open our doors to everybody who wishes to participate in Sport and through sport to create a better future, a better community and a better Country. We think globally, Australia is not an island anymore. We are part of the global World in sport and education and in every other way. To offer the Best possible must be our objective and sport and education is our aim.

Winning at any cost will never be part of our club or our culture. We care, share, educate and than we play football.

To our president and founder of the Joeys movement - after so many battles the war is not over yet - you and your Committee and coaching staff have done a wonderful job.

Above all of us is a group of people that no club can exist without - people who week in week out keep our dream alive - ONE big thank you to all for your loyalty and unselfish commitment.

On the 23rd of June this year we were off to another journey to our favourite football country, Germany - It again provided us with many unforgettable moments. The FIFA World Cup for women was held during our time in Germany and the Matilda's were given our BIG support. We came back with the knowledge that 5 of our female players can go back to Germany for 12 month and play top level football, go to school or do work experience and that all for the cost of an airfare

As for me, it brought memorable and unforgettable moments of the greatest Show on our planet the FIFA World Cup. The memories of the1974 World Cup when I coached the Socceroos will stay with me forever as are the friendships forged during this time. The magic of the round ball has kept us together all these years and it is still bringing people together and performing its magic all over the world.

The Joeys Club is testimony to this magic. It’s a Club where the magic is alive and where dreams come true.
